A former champion and ex-interim UFC titleholder fought in the first two pay-per-view bouts.

Opening the main card was the return of Carlos Condit, as the former interim UFC welterweight champion competed for the first time in almost two years.

His return, though, was spoiled by Neil Magny, as the former Ultimate Fighter competitor earned his 13th career win inside the Octagon with a decision victory.

Carla Esparza, the first-ever UFC strawweight champion, handed Cynthia Calvillo her first loss of her career, taking a decision.

Esparza has now won two in a row and three of her last four outside of a split decision defeat to Randa Markos. Calvillo was attempting to finish off the calendar year 5-0.
