Bellator has a new bantamweight champion, as Darrion Caldwell dominated Eduardo Dantas Friday night at Bellator 184.

Caldwell, a former NCAA wrestling standout, improved to 11-1 in his career with a decision victory over Dantas. The bout served as the main event on Spike from Thackerville, Oklahoma.

Emmanuel Sanchez submitted Daniel Straus in the co-main event, with Pat Curran scoring a decision vs. John Teixeira in another main card bout.
