Douglas Lima isn’t going anywhere soon.
The reigning Bellator welterweight champion has signed a new six-fight, two-year deal with the promotion.
“Bellator is my home,” Lima told MMA Fighting. “I am excited to continue growing alongside the company.”
Lima is a two-time champion and has won two tournament titles, as well. The 29-year-old has gone 11-2 since signing with Bellator the first time, including a recent win over Lorenz Larkin.
