While Tyron Woodley and Demian Maia prepare to do battle at UFC 214 in July, the UFC has already revealed who awaits the winner.

Georges St-Pierre, who held the title for over 2,000 days prior to relinquishing it in 2013, will challenge the winner.

“Georges and I talked a couple days ago when he was in Vegas,” White said in an exclusive interview at UFC headquarters with MMAjunkie. “Georges is saying he wants to fight; we’ll get this thing figured out. We’re talking about Tyron Woodley and Demian Maia. These two are going to fight soon. That will free up the 170-pound champion for Georges St-Pierre to return and try to regain his belt.”

St-Pierre announced his return earlier this year and was lined up to meet Michael Bisping for the middleweight title. Instead, he’ll attempt to win back the belt he held from 2008-13.
