The Octagon will head to Edmonton this September for UFC 216, the promotion announced recently.

Set for September 9, the event will take place from Rogers Place.

“We are thrilled to hold our first pay-per-view event in Edmonton,” UFC Senior Vice President, Head of International and Content Joe Carr said in a release. “Fans have long been asking us to bring the octagon back to Alberta, and we can’t wait to deliver a blockbuster event at state-of-the-art Rogers Place this September.”

Rogers Place holds 20,000 and is home to the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers. Ticket prices and fights have yet to be announced.
