Ryan Bader will get his shot at MMA gold, as Phil Davis has agreed to replace Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal and defend his title at Bellator 180.

The event will serve as the undercard to Bellator: NYC, which goes down June 24 from Madison Square Garden. The Davis-Bader championship match will headline the Spike portion, entitled Bellator 180.

Bader signed with Bellator MMA after completing his UFC contract. The former Ultimate Fighter winner has won two straight and is 22-5 overall in his career. Like Bader, Davis (17-3) is a former top contender in the UFC and an ex-NCAA wrestling standout.

After signing with Bellator last year, Davis won the title with a decision victory in November over Liam McGeary.
