Anderson Silva would like to gain a measure of revenge for both himself and former opponent Dan Henderson.
That’s why the ex-UFC middleweight champion hopes for a second meeting with Michael Bisping.
The reigning UFC 185-pound titleholder bested Silva last year in his home country of England, doing the same vs. Henderson to close out 2016.
“I’m ready to fight, regardless of whom,” Silva said in an interview with MMAjunkie. “It’d be perfect to fight Bisping because something was left in the air. Not only with me, but with Dan Henderson too. I think if it were in a neutral place, I’d take it for sure. Regardless of a belt or anything, fighting Bisping would be interesting.”
Would “The Spider” be open at all to facing Bisping again in England?
“Of course not, he said. “No doubt, no.”
Silva returns to action at UFC 208 against Derek Brunson.
