Valentina Shevchenko wasn’t a household name in MMA prior to UFC on FOX 20, but after tonight, chances are she is.

The bantamweight and multi-time, Muay Thai champ, outgunned Holly Holm with punches and kicks, and worked her way to a unanimous decision win. Holm was attempting to get back on track after she was choked out by Miesha Tate in March, and lost the 135 title.

Shevchenko moved her UFC record to 2-1. In her previous outing, she was decisioned by now reigning champ, Amanda Nunes.

Edson Barboza also put on  a striking clinic in the co-main event, as his vaunted leg kicks and movement proved to be too much for Gilbert Melendez. Following the fight, it was obvious Barboza was going to be handed the decision win, and he was.

Barboza has won two straight fights now since he was submitted by Tony Ferguson last December.
