The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum will honor former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis with the creation of a bobblehead.
Pettis, a native of Milwaukee which is where the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is being built, has previously appeared on the cover of Wheaties.
Below is a complete press release about the bobblehead, which is now available:
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum (www.BobbleheadHall.com) unveiled the first bobblehead of Anthony “Showtime” Pettis ever produced. Anthony was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a former UFC Lightweight Champion. Each bobblehead, which cost $25 plus shipping, is individually numbered, and a limited number of gold variations are randomly inserted.
“Being in Milwaukee, it was great seeing Anthony’s climb to the top of the mixed martial arts world. We thought that honoring Anthony with a bobblehead was a fitting tribute to all of his accomplishments so far in his career!” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
Pettis is coached by world-renowned striking coach Duke Roufus and is a member of Roufusport. In the fall of 2014, Pettis was voted to be the first UFC champion to appear on the cover of General Mills’ Wheaties’ box.
“Thank you so much to Phil Sklar and his team at the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in my hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am humbled that I was chosen to have a bobblehead made in my honor in recognition of my accomplishments in mixed martial arts. Being born and raised in Milwaukee, I’m always proud to represent my city in any way possible, including being the first MMA fighter to have a bobblehead produced by the Hall.”
The bobbleheads, which are in stock, are only available at www.BobbleheadHall.com/product/anthonypettis for $25 plus shipping.
