It’s quite possible that the current World Series of Fighting bantamweight roster just has no answer for Marlon Moraes.

The reigning WSOF champion earned his 11th consecutive win overall – including nine straight with the promotion – Saturday night in the main event of WSOF 28 on NBC Sports Network.

Moraes stopped challenger Joseph Barajas with kicks inside of two minutes of the opening round. He is now 16-4 in his career, while Barajas falls to 12-2.

Chris Gutierrez was the big winner in the co-main event, claiming a split decision vs. Timur Valiev.

Jamie Yager, a former contestant on The Ultimate Fighter, returned after several years away from active competition to earn a first round submission.
