After earning his fourth consecutive victory, Rafael Natal made is clear to the rest of the middleweight division that he is gunning for the Top-10.

Natal (21-6-1) earned a third round TKO vs. Kevin Casey as part of the UFC on FOX 18 prelims Saturday night.

“I think I deserve a Top-10 guy,” Natal said. “Step by step I’m going to move up to the top.”

Last May, Natal earned a split decision over Uriah Hall, adding to decisions vs. Tom Watson and Chris Camozzi.

He now owns nine UFC victories since debuting with the promotion back in 2010.

“When I hit him I knew that’s my time,” he said. “I thought I have to finish this fight. I wanted to use my jiu-jitsu and then I finished the fight. With all my fans here, I have to give this win to them. My three brothers came from Brazil, lots of my friends and even my girlfriend to support me.”

For Casey, the loss has him questioning which weight class to compete at moving forward. He is 1-1 with a no-contest over his last three.

“That punch at the end of the first took a lot out of me. I felt gassed after that. I was really, really gassed. Maybe it’s time to drop down to 170.”
