Welterweights Matt Brown and Demian Maia will tangle this May, as officials have added the contest to the UFC Fight Night 87 event.

Set for May 14 from Brazil, the main event will feature Vitor Belfort vs. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza on FOX Sports 1. No venue has been confirmed yet.

Brown (20-13) and Maia (22-6) are two of the more seasoned vets in the promotion, having combined for 29 Octagon wins and 42 appearances overall.

The 35-year-old Brown will be trying to put together another impressive win streak after his July submission victory vs. Tim Means. Prior to back-to-back decision losses to current UFC champion Robbie Lawler and former champion Johny Hendricks, the Ohio-native had won seven in a row.

Maia previously competed for the UFC middleweight title, but decided to test his skills at welterweight and has found success. Following back-to-back decision defeats to Rory MacDonald and Jake Shields, the Brazilian finds himself on a four-fight win streak.

Below is the current lineup:

Middleweight: Vitor Belfort vs. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza

Welterweight: Demian Maia vs. Matt Brown
