Anthony Johnson isn’t sure who provided information to the media that he was interested in a meeting with Ryan Bader, but “Rumble” is down for the bout.

Johnson (20-5) got back on track this past September with a second round finish of Jimi Manuwa after losing to Daniel Cormier in a May contest to crown a new UFC light heavyweight champion.

Bader (20-4) picked up his fifth consecutive victory when he earned a decision over Rashad Evans earlier this month.

The initial report of Johnson-Bader came on Wednesday night’s episode of “UFC Tonight” in which Ariel Helwani stated that he talked to Glenn Robinson – the manager for Johnson – about the fight.
