For former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski, the possibility of avenging a knockout loss is high on his list of things-to-do.

Arlovski, who scored a victory over Frank Mir recently to remain a top contender to the belt, recently talked with Submission Radio out of Australia about possibly fighting Fedor Emelianenko once again.

Back in 2009, Emelianenko caught Arlovski while both were competing for Affliction, earning a first round finish. Arlovski lost three straight after that, but has rebounded with 10 wins in his last 12 fights – including six in a row.

“Sold. Sold,” said Arlovski, of a rematch. “Of course. Any time, any day. I said Sold. Anytime, anywhere.

“No more flying knees and I’m gonna do everything possible to knock him out. It was such a stupid move from my side when I jumped with the flying knee. Idiot. I’m very excited and I promise you it’s gonna be a really good fight. And I will do everything possible to pay him pack by KO. I’m going to knock his ass out.”

Arlovski was mentioned on the medical report for a possible hand injury, but he confirmed that it is “just bruised.”

“Nothing’s injured bad,” he said. “I’m not seriously injured or some broken bones or something. It’s just a bruise.”
