Rashad Evans is scheduled to fight Ryan Bader at UFC 192 on October 3rd, and as the scrap approaches, it looks like things are getting a wee bit tense…

Since the upcoming scrap features two of the UFC’s top light-heavyweights, and because a title shot could be on the line, it’s a fight that’s probably on your must see list. But, if you also need a little drama and trash talking to go in the mix, well, it looks like you’re in luck.

Recently Evans spoke to MMA Junkie.com Radio, and clearly “Suga” isn’t pleased with some of the things “Darth” has been saying (quote via MMA Junkie.com):

“It’s funny, man,” Evans said. “Bader is talking a little reckless, and it definitely makes me want to punish him. I’m going to sleep thinking about some of the things and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe he’s saying all of this.’ I made a comment to him first and I was just kind of teasing. But then he kept going. Then he brought out the fat picture and then he just kept going and going. So, it’s like, ‘Okay, he wants to keep on going?’ Now I’m starting to believe that he really thinks this. Now, because he really thinks this, I’m going to punish this dude. I’m going to punish him. Bad.”

How about that? Evans also went on to say that he believes he’ll take out Bader in the second round, which would be pretty impressive if he does.

Bader is riding a four fight winning streak and has worked his way into the number four spot. Evans, on the other hand, has long been considered one of the planet’s best 205’ers, but he has been sidelined since 2013 with knee injuries. So, if he does storm through Bader it would certainly be a huge statement.

UFC 192 will take place at Houston’s Toyota Center. In the main event light-heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier will take on Alexander Gustafsson.
