Urijah Faber has relayed that he’s had some exchanges with Conor McGregor during the filming of TUF 22, but it sounds like TJ Dillashaw has too.

Faber and McGregor had a well documented, pre-UFC 189 ‘chat’ in July. Then, more recently, Faber has reported further incidents with McGregor. Well, “The California Kid” appeared on “Submission Radio” not long ago, and while doing so, he said the following (quotes via Bloody Elbow.com):

“It’s funny ’cause Conor and I have been around each other and have an interesting relationship, but him and TJ on two different occasions have gotten into it with things escalating to, you know, them kind of bad mouthing each other. So there’s a little tension there as well and I think that’s a good fight the fans would love to see.”

“One time TJ and Conor and I in the back of the Ronda Rousey fight in LA, we were in just a private little bar with celebrities and the UFC brass and words were exchanged, and TJ was talking about Conor’s title shot and Conor went back and forth and they were getting on each other’s nerves, really. So I think they ended up having to be split up a little bit. And then when TJ was on the show [Submission Radio].”

How about that? Faber was also asked to weigh-in on how a bout between McGregor and Dillashaw would go down. Not surprisingly, Faber argued that his teammate could defeat McGregor, and cited Faber’s wrestling and speed as to why. It would a great fight, no question, but chances are it’s not going to happen anytime soon (or ever).

McGregor is booked to fight featherweight champ Jose Aldo on December 12th at UFC 194. Neither Faber or Dillashaw have fights scheduled.
