With most of the UFC heavyweight division’s Top-10 scheduled for fights, the lone remaining two awaiting a bout appear headed for a battle.

Former Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem recently posted on social media that all he’s waiting on is confirmation from ex-UFC titleholder Junior dos Santos for a fight.

Overeem (39-14) has won two in a row and is 3-1 in his last four. He was scheduled to face dos Santos for the belt shortly after defeating Brock Lesnar, but a failed drug test zapped that bout.

Dos Santos (17-3) is recovering from surgery and injuries suffered in a win over Stipe Miocic that moved his Octagon mark to 11-2 overall. The Brazilian responded, also via social media, a few hours after the post by Overeem.
