The co-main event at UFC 194 will middleweight champion Chris Weidman defending his title against Luke Rockhold. The bout was announced late Thursday night on ESPN’s “SportsCenter.”

Set for December 12 in Las Vegas, the card features a featherweight title unification match between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor.

Weidman (13-0) is coming off a finish vs. Vitor Belfort this past May. He had been on the sidelines since early in 2014 following his win vs. Lyoto Machida.

“The All-American” claimed two straight second round knockouts of Anderson Silva. Of his 13 wins, six have been knockouts and three have been submission wins.

Rockhold (14-2) has put together four consecutive victories since a loss to Belfort, finishing Machida, Michael Bisping, Tim Boetsch and Costas Philippou. He is a former Strikeforce champion.
