Michael Bisping may have a ways to go before he gets a title shot, but if he ends up facing Chris Weidman, the champ doesn’t believe it will be much of a test.

Although Bisping is 3-2 in his last 5 fights and is 36 years-old, the British star has never abandoned his dream of becoming middleweight champ. Now that “The Count” has scored consecutive wins over contenders in CB Dollaway and Thales Leites, Bisping isn’t knocking on the title shot door, but he’s not that far out either.

Well, Weidman recently participated in a fan, Q&A session on Periscope, and the subject of Mr. Bisping came up. If you’re a huge Bisping fan, well, then you may not want to read what the “All American” had to say about your guy (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“I would love for him to fight for the title because I’d literally beat him sleepwalking,” Weidman said. “I think I could beat him while I’m sleepwalking. He has no punching power so I can literally fall asleep while he’s punching me, just get a hold of him and throw him on the floor. If he doesn’t get knocked out when he falls on the floor I’ll just submit him.

“I could submit him with my eyes closed. 100 percent. That’s not even me talking any junk. That’s just me being honest.”

Ouch. Now,  most people would likely go with Weidman, if he were to fight Bisping. But, clearly the champ is playing things up for the fans just a tad…Bisping has faced the best of the best during his career, and the only men who have finished him are Vitor Belfort, Dan Henderson and most recently Luke Rockhold.

Weidman, meanwhile, is expected to face Rockhold sometime later this year.
