A native of Mexico, Efrain Efrain Escudero earned his 13th career submission win Saturday night at UFC 188.

And while the previous 12 were all great, none were better than this one for Escudero, who still holds citizenship in Mexico.

“Thank you (to all of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 2 cast) for motivating me to train harder every single day,” he said. “This ones for you guys.”

Escudero and fellow UFC 188 fighter Kelvin Gastelum were cast as coaches on the reality series. The 29-year-old has now won two in a row and is 6-2 in his last eight overall.

Previously, Escudero fought for the UFC twice before, going 3-4. He won TUF 8 with a decision victory over Phillipe Nover back in 2008 and was 12-0 at one point in his career.

Dober fell to 15-7 with the loss.
