Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar is tired of being overlooked.

Following a win over Urijah Faber, Edgar and his manager, Ali Abdel-Aziz, are planning to push hard for the winner of Conor McGregor-Jose Aldo for the featherweight title.

“We’re not going to let them step over us a second time,” Abdel-Aziz told UFC Tonight recently. “There’s going to be a riot.”

Many believed Edgar (19-4-1) would be given a rematch with Aldo after his win over Cub Swanson, but that shot went to McGregor instead. “The Answer” has won four in a row since a loss to Aldo in his 145-pound debut after dropping the title and subsequent rematch to Benson Henderson at lightweight.

Aldo is set to defend his title against McGregor this July.
