After seeing his previous win over Nik Lentz reversed to a no-contest, Charles Oliveira made sure there would be no changes this time around.

Oliveira ended the fight with a guillotine choke in the third round at UFC Fight Night 67 in the co-main event Saturday night. It marked his seventh submission win, which ties him for third all-time in the UFC.

Since a loss to former champion Frankie Edgar, Oliveira has won four in a row, including three via submissions.

“Five years ago, they threw me inside this Octagon against lions,” Oliveira said. “I am ready. I want to be (one of those lions).”

The two, who had heated words during the weigh-ins, went toe-to-toe for the entire first round. Oliveira, though, came out with more energy in the third and immediately went for the guillotine by jumping into the arms of Lentz.

Overall, the Brazilian is now 20-4 in his career and 8-4 with the one no-contest from 2011 vs. Lentz inside the Octagon.
