Donald Cerrone has become one of the UFC’s most popular fighters, not only on account of his aggressive and entertaining style, but because “Cowboy” loves to fight (and does so frequently).

Case in point, when Cerrone throws down with John Makdessi tonight at UFC 187, it will be his 7th fight since 2013….A lot of fighters during that time have fought what? Three? Maybe four times?

Now sure, one could argue that the UFC gets Cerrone plenty of bouts because he’s a big draw, but you have to give the guy credit for not pulling out of cards. Cerrone was scheduled to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov today in what many believe would have been a title shot eliminator. Nurmagomedov went down with another knee injury, however, and now, Cerrone has a lot to lose if he’s defeated by the underdog ┬áMakdessi.

In advance of Saturday’s bout, the UFC has released a segment titled “Donald Cerrone’s Fighter Mentality Segment“, in which the lightweight discusses his take on all comers attitude. You can watch it below.

UFC 187 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
