Invicta FC has added another bantamweight fighter to the roster, agreeing to a contract with Laura Howarth.

Howarth, from England, has gone 2-1 in her pro MMA career. She was on The Ultimate Fighter 18 and is unbeaten in kickboxing matches.

“Signing for Invicta was always going to happen, it was simply a question of time until I made it,” she said. “I’m really excited to show the Invicta fans what I can really do. I feel energized, focused and ready to lay the mother of all beatings on some Invicta fighters.”

Currently, the bantamweight title is vacant in the promotion. Lauren Murphy held it after defeating Miriam Nakamoto, but she gave up the belt when she signed with the UFC last year.
