Another bout filled with potential for “Fight of the Night” has been added to UFC 189, as Matt Brown welcomes Nate Diaz back to the welterweight division.

Set for July 11, the Las Vegas card will be part of International Fight Week. Jose Aldo and Robbie Lawler will both be defending their respective titles that night.

Brown (19-13) had won seven in a row before back-to-back decision losses to former champion Johny Hendricks and Lawler. That included six finishes.

“The Immortal” posted on Twitter “Can you say fireworks” after the announcement.

Diaz (17-10) is just 1-3 in his last four, including a loss to then-lightweight champion Benson Henderson via decision. His lone win since 2012 came over Gray Maynard.

Aldo takes on Conor McGregor in the main event for the UFC featherweight title, while Lawler defends the welterweight belt vs. Rory MacDonald. Other previously announced fights include Dennis Bermudez-Jeremy Stephens, Gunnar Nelson-John Hathaway, Brandon Thatch-John Howard and Mike Swick-Alex Garcia.
