Welterweights Jake Bostwick and Dwayne Hinds will headline Warrior Fight Series 3 on May 23 from the York Hall in London, officials announced recently.
Bostwick (15-8) has won his last eight, including three straight with Cage Warriors. “Brutal” also uses a “Bane” costume for his entrances to the cage.
“Fighting on WFS will be a new experience for me. I have been to the last couple shows and the events are well ran and always have a great atmosphere, so I’m looking forward to being a part of this,” Bostwick said. “It’s still a new promotion and making my debut at the renowned York Hall in Bethnal Green just shows what they’re about. When it comes down to my opponent Dwayne Hinds, I am looking forward to fighting him.
“Dwayne seems to bring it to the fight and I think he will make for an interesting match up. I just know I will be bringing it 100-percent and hope my international opponent does the same, as I want to make it a night to remember for everyone viewing.”
Bostwick (10-1) previously competed for ONE Championship and other promotions, and has won each of his last 10 after falling in his pro debut. He is a former national judo champion.
“I look forward to fighting a very game opponent and am always excited about fighting in the UK,” he said. “Get ready for a war, hope you enjoy the show. Boom bang!”
