At this stage of the game, it’s pretty hard for Conor McGregor to say anything that’s ‘shocking’, but recently the brash featherweight raised eyebrows by saying he could “take” Rafael dos Anjos “without a problem.” Now sure, McGregor has certainly impressed since he’s arrived in the UFC, but dos Anjos is coming off his most impressive win to date: a one sided, decision win over Anthony Pettis.

Well, recently the newly crowned lightweight champ was asked about McGregor, and the fighter’s plans to move to 155 at some juncture. Dos Anjos reportedly had this response for “Notorious” (quote via MMA

“What does he want with me?” dos Anjos said while reportedly laughing. “He has a big opponent in front of him with Aldo. Tell him to stay of featherweight because here (at 155 pounds) is going to be tough for him.”

Yes. First things first, and that’s the featherweight champ, Mr.Aldo, who has not lost a fight since 2005. Aldo-McGregor will headline UFC 189, which will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
