Justin Gaethje and Luis Palomino stood toe-to-toe with each other for almost three full rounds Saturday night in the main event of World Series of Fighting 19.

With just over a minute left in the third, Gaethje dropped the challenger, finishing him and retaining his lightweight title on NBC Sports Network.

In other action, Teddy Holder stunned Thiago Silva in the semifinals of the light heavyweight tournament. Holder replaced Matt Hamill, who withdrew from the fight just hours before.

Timur Valiev and Clifford Starks each added finishes.
