While Anderson Silva was given a delay in his appearance before the Nevada Athletic Commission, Monday’s upcoming meeting will still have a significant amount of MMA-related items today.

Vitor Belfort must appear before the commission to apply for a fight license due to his age. The NAC requires all MMA and boxing fighters to do so once they reach 35 years of age.

Belfort’s also been tested a number of times ahead of his planned – and delayed – and rescheduled UFC middleweight title fight with Chris Weidman.

The disciplinary complaints against Hector Lombard and Nick Diaz will be among the final items for the meeting. Lombard was found to have banned substances following a recent fight in Las Vegas, while Diaz was flagged for marijuana.

Silva asked for – and received – a delay in his planned disciplinary complaint hearing.

In boxing news, Mayweather Promotions and Top Rank will both be there to ask for the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for May 2 to hold Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. (Las Vegas time) at the Grant Sawyer Office Building.
