Two new bouts were recently announced for UFC 187, as Rose Namajunas faces Nina Ansaroff and Justin Scoggins battles Josh Sampo.
Set for May 23 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the card features two world title fights. Jon Jones defends his light heavyweight belt vs. Anthony Johnson and Chris Weidman defends his middleweight title vs. Vitor Belfort.
Namajunas (2-2) reached the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 20, falling to Carla Esparza. Ansaroff (6-4) had her five-fight win streak snapped in her Octagon debut.
Scoggins (9-2) started his career with nine consecutive wins, including two with the UFC, before dropping his last two. Sampo (11-4) is also coming off back-to-back losses.
