Dana White and the UFC will hold a press conference on Wednesday to discuss the issue of performance enhancing drugs, but in the interim, he’s admitted the recent news regarding Anderson Silva set him for a loop.

Following the revelation last month that Silva allegedly tested positive for steroids leading up to UFC 183, White hasn’t said very much about the subject publicly. But, following UFC Fight Night 60 on Saturday, White did tell the media the following (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“It screwed me up for a few days,” said White, while discussing how he felt after hearing about Silva’s failed test. “I was messed up for a few days after that. I’ve been a huge Anderson Silva fan, too, but we’ll talk about that on Wednesday.”

White also relayed that at Wednesday’s press conference “We’ll address all the things that have happened lately and what we’re going to do and what’s going to happen from here on out.”

Silva faced Nick Diaz on January 31st and worked his way to a unanimous decision win. The former middleweight champ has denied using PEDs.
