The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation has added the 2014 World Championships of Amateur MMA to the UFC Fight Pass video library.

Last year, 22 countries were represented in the first-ever international amateur MMA championships. Fighters from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Sweden, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States all competed between June 30-July 5.

“We are thrilled to see the very first IMMAF World Championships find a digital home at UFC Fight Pass, making the bouts available to participants, supporters and MMA fans in over 150 countries and territories worldwide,” said IMMAF CEO Densign White. “It is an honor for upcoming Amateur athletes to have their matches broadcast on such a prestigious platform; and an accolade to the caliber of the competitors coming from variedly developed MMA communities from all corners of the globe. The championships marked a historic first for the sport and can now be relived digitally via UFC Fight Pass. We would like to thank all involved at UFC for this opportunity.”

Marshall Zelaznik, UFC Chief Content Officer, stated that the success of the IMMAF World Championships during International Fight Week “were a big hit.”

“We’re excited to present these amateur fights on UFC Fight Pass,” he added.
