Following three straight losses, the UFC has released Mike Rhodes. The fighter confirmed the news on Twitter Wednesday.

Rhodes signed with the promotion after a 2013 victory over current UFC fighter Alan Jouban to improve to 6-1 in his career. His only other loss prior to entering the Octagon was to another UFC fighter, Brandon Thatch.

“Biggie,” who trains out of Roufusport, dropped a pair of decisions to George Sullivan and Robert Whittaker earlier last year before a first round submission loss to Erick Silva in Brazil.
