Recently-signed Bellator MMA fighter Aaron Pico will compete this April against two-time NCAA wrestling champion Brent Metcalf at Agon V.

Agon Wrestling Championships will head to Iowa City – home of the multi-time NCAA champion Iowa Hawkeyes – April 4.

Pico is a well-decorated 18-year-old who has won many national titles. He is expected to pick up a career in MMA after a run at Olympic gold.

Metcalf competed for the Hawkeyes and twice won national titles after earning four Michigan high school crowns. He won the Hodge Trophy, given to the best college wrestler, in 2008 and has competed at Agon previously.

More matches are expected to be announced soon for the event, which will be held inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
