One would think that Donald Cerrone would be somewhat happy with what went down at UFC 182, but evidently the lightweight contender wasn’t pleased with his victory over Myles Jury.

Sure, Cerrone wasn’t able to score a highlight reel finish, but he outscored Jury for the unanimous decision win, and in doing so, handed the rising fighter his first, pro defeat.

Well, while speaking to FOX Sports 1 after the card, here is what “Cowboy” had to say about his sixth, consecutive victory.

“That was not a fight. I was disappointed the entire time. To me, that wasn’t a victory. I didn’t feel like that was a victory tonight.”

It is true that the bout didn’t feature the fireworks most expected, until the end of the bout perhaps, when Cerrone bombed away kicks at the legs of Jury. All this aside, not surprisingly, Cerrone is hoping to get back into the cage ASAP.

“We have a Denver card coming up soon,” Cerrone relayed in the interview.  “Let’s get Cowboy on it! I don’t care who I fight. There’s got to be a lightweight who wants to fight Cowboy.”

There probably is, despite the fact Cerrone is on a ridiculously impressive run right now and continues to hold down a top five, ranking spot.
