An injury has knocked Francisco Trevino from a planned UFC Fight Night 59 meeting with Johnny Case, opening the door for Frankie Perez to debut.
Set for January 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, the card will feature Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver and Benson Henderson vs. Eddie Alvarez.
Trevino explained on Twitter that he suffered a rib injury in training.
Me lastime una costilla, me duele no poder pelear en Boston. #UFCBoston I injured my rib.. hurts me to say I won't be fighting in Boston

Perez (9-1) trains out of the Ricardo Almeida gym and owns five submission victories to his credit.
