Roan Carneiro will make his return to the Octagon for the first time since 2008, taking on Mark Munoz at UFC 184.

Set for February 28 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the card features two title fights.

Carneiro (19-9) is coming off a victory in the one-night, eight-man tournament for BattleGrounds MMA, and has gone 7-1 in his last eight fights overall. He posted a 2-3 mark for the UFC in 2007-08 before being released.

Munoz (13-5) has lost his last two and is just 1-3 in his last four, including stoppage losses to Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi. Originally, Munoz was to face Caio Magalhaes, but a planned surgery will keep him out of action.
