A bantamweight bout has been added to the UFC 182 lineup, as Marcus Brimage meets Cody Garbrandt.

Set for January 3 from Las Vegas and the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the card features Jon Jones defending his light heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier.

Brimage (7-3) has gone 4-2 over six Octagon appearances, including a recent head-kick knockout of Jumabieke Tuerxun. He had lost two straight prior to that.

Garbrandt (5-0) will be making his debut after turning pro in 2012, scoring four first round knockouts. He is a member of Team Alpha Male, which houses current division champion T.J. Dillashaw.
