Three new fights have been added to the January UFC event set for Sweden, officials announced recently.
Set for January 24 from the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, the card features Alexander Gustafsson vs. Anthony Johnson in the main event. It will air on FOX, but is still considered a “Fight Night” event.
The fights announced for the night include Stanislav Nedkov-Nikita Krylov, Konstantin Erokhin-Viktor Pesta and Yan Cabral-Mairbek Taisumov.
Nedkov (12-1) suffered his first loss last year when he was finished by Tom Watson, dropping his UFC record to 1-1 with a no-contest. Krylov (17-4) has alternated wins and losses in his last six, going 2-2 inside the Octagon.
Erokhin (9-1) has won each of his last nine fights and is making his UFC debut, while Pesta (9-1) dropped his debut with the promotion to Ruslan Magomedov in May.
Cabral (12-1) rebounded from his first career loss to Zak Cummings in May by submitting Naoyuki Kotani this past October in the second round. Taisumov (22-5) earned his second UFC victory by finishing Marcin Bandel recently.
