The World Series of Fighting is coming to Sacramento, as Rousimar Palhares defends his welterweight title against Jon Fitch, the promotion announced.
Set for December 13, the main card airs from the McClellan Conference Center on NBC Sports Network. Along with Palhares-Fitch, Rick Glenn will defend his featherweight title vs. Lance Palmer.
Palmer trains out of the Team Alpha Male camp, which is based out of Sacramento.
“We are excited to bring the World Series Fighting product to the city of Sacramento for the first time,” WSOF president Ray Sefo said, “and are looking forward to delivering an incredible night of MMA action to a market where fans have shown tremendous appreciation and enthusiasm for our great sport.”
More bouts will be announced in the coming days and weeks leading up to the card.
