Two more bouts have been announced for BAMMA 17, which takes place December 6 from the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England.

Previously announced fights include Colin Fletcher vs. Michael Brightmon, Oli Thompson vs. Brett McDermott and Walter Gahadza vs. Mickael Lebout.

The newest fights are Michael Cutting going up against Mike Grundy in a featherweight encounter, along with flyweights Sam Creasey and Mick Gerrard.

Grundy is 1-0 in his MMA career, having won bronze in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games in wrestling. He trains out of Liverpool and is the 12th-ranked wrestler in the world for his weight class.

“I am looking forward to returning to BAMMA in Manchester and showcasing new techniques I’ve been working on,” he said. “Cutting is a good opponent but I want to give my great fans an early Christmas present.”

Cutting sports a 5-3 MMA record and is a jiu-jitsu black belt. He picked up a win over Richie Edwards recently.

“I’m not going to hang around,” he said, “I’m going to cut this fight short.”

Creasey sports a 3-0 record and is nicknamed “The Hobbit.” Gerrard is 2-1 after an unbeaten amateur career.

“I respect Mick and he will be one of my toughest tests so far,” Creasey said. “But it’s time to shine and I’m not losing this fight.”

Gerrard made a similar statement, saying “I’m really looking forward to fighting on such a great show as BAMMA. I respect my opponent, but I’m here to make a statement and make everyone aware of who I am and what I’m about.”
