A pair of lightweights with exceptional finishing rates will meet at UFC 181, as Tony Ferguson and Abel Trujillo have signed on the dotted line.

Set for December 6 from Las Vegas, the card features a main event between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler. Earlier this year, Hendricks won the vacant welterweight title with a decision win over Lawler.

Also, Anthony Pettis will fight for the first time this year, meeting former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez for the lightweight strap.

Ferguson (16-3) is a former winner of The Ultimate Fighter. He has nine knockout and four more submission wins to his credit, and is coming off a split decision win over Danny Castillo.

Prior to that, “El Cucuy” had stopped Katsunori Kikuno via knockout and submitted Mike Rio following a decision loss to Michael Johnson. Ferguson is 6-1 in his UFC career.

Trujillo (12-5) is unbeaten in his last three, finishing Jamie Varner and Roger Bowling. Of his 12 career wins, five have been knockouts and three submissions.
