Bellator MMA’s return to Iowa in October will have a distinct home-state flavor to it, as Paul Bradley meets Josh Neer in the main event of Bellator 129.

Set for October 17 from Council Bluffs and the Mid-American Center, the main card airs on Spike TV. Along with Bradley-Neer, James Thompson vs. Houston Alexander was announced.

Bradley, a native of Tama, Iowa, was a two-time All-American wrestler for the University of Iowa. He owns 14 finishes and is 21-6 overall. Neer carries a three-fight win streak into his Bellator return. He previously fought for the promotion in 2010, falling to Eddie Alvarez.

The first female fight under direction of president Scott Coker will take place on the prelims, as Holly Lawson meets Jozette Cotton.
