Officials have added five new bouts to the UFC Fight Night 55 lineup, including several fighters local to Australia.

Set for November 8 from the Allphones Arena in Sydney, the UFC Fight Pass event features a main event between Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping.

Fights that were announced during a recent kickoff press conference include Robert Whittaker vs. Clint Hester, Soa Palelei vs. Daniel Omielanczuk, Jake Matthews vs. Vagner Rocha, Dylan Andrews vs. Sam Alvey and Vik Grujic vs. Chris Clements.

Palelei, Matthews and Grujic are all natives to the host country, while Andrews and Whittaker were born in nearby New Zealand.

Whittaker (12-4) has won three of five inside the Octagon since his time on The Ultimate Fighter, while Hester (11-3) is 4-0 and also an alum of TUF. Palelei (21-4) has won three of his four UFC appearances, and Omielanczuk (16-4-1) is 1-1 with the promotion.

Matthews (7-0) is still unbeaten both overall and in the UFC, Rocha (11-3) is returning after going 1-2, Andrews (17-5) has won two of three and Alvey (23-6) recently lost his debut. Grujic (7-3) and Clements (11-5) are both 1-1.
