Lightweights Daron Cruickshank and Anthony Njokuani have been announced as the 12th fight to UFC Fight Night 54 by officials recently.

Set for October 4 from the Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, the event will air on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, Rory MacDonald takes on former Strikeforce champion Tarec Saffiedine.

Cruickshank (15-5) has won five of eight Octagon bouts, including two of his last three. After head-kick knockouts of Mike Rio and Erik Koch, “The Detroit Superstar” was topped by Jorge Masvidal in July.

Njokuani (16-8) has split six UFC fights evenly, including a May loss to Vinc Pichel. The 34-year-old missed several months recently recovering from an injury.
