UFC Fight Night 57 Picks Up Middleweight Matchup

ufc fight night 57

Middleweights Luke Barnatt and Roger Narvaez will square off this November when the UFC returns to Texas as part of the UFC Fight Night 57 lineup.

Officials added the bout to the card recently, which takes place November 22 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas on the campus of the University of Texas.

Barnatt (8-1) has won three of his four UFC fights, falling only via split decision to Sean Strickland earlier this year. That loss snapped an eight-fight win streak for the alum of The Ultimate Fighter.

Narvaez (6-1) was handed a TKO loss to Patrick Cummins in his Octagon debut. The Texas-native had won five of his first six pro bouts via stoppage.

Below is the current lineup, which is still lacking a main event:

Flyweight: Joseph Benavidez vs. Dustin Ortiz

Female Strawweight: Paige VanZant vs. Kailin Curran

Lightweight: Matt Wiman vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg

Middleweight: Luke Barnatt vs. Roger Narvaez

good to see Matt Wiman back at last

Seems like Wieman has been out quite a while now, I never really became a fan of his after his rant on TUF after the loss to Manny.

  • hindsightufuk says:

jeez I don’t remember that fan, don’t remember him on that series at all.

i enjoyed his fights with Spencer, Omigawa Miller & Danzig, became one of the guys i like to watch fight without actually supporting him

  • fanoftna33 says:

Yeah Wieman fought Manny on the show and lost a dominate decision and went in the interview after the fight saying a bunch of shit. I can beat that little chump 99 times out of 100 etc….. I know after a fight is a bad time but it just left a sour taste to me.

  • fanoftna33 says:

But also agreed he puts on very good fights.
