The hour-long pre-event hype-show returns for UFC 177, as “Countdown” debuts this afternoon on FOX Sports 1.
The program features an in-depth look at the main event between T.J. Dillashaw and Renan Barao for the bantamweight title. It debuts at 3 p.m. ET with replays set for FS1, FS2 and the many other regional FOX Sports Networks throughout the week leading up to Saturday’s fight card.
Dillashaw won the belt from Barao earlier this year, finishing the then-champion in the fifth round. The event will take place in Dillashaw’s backyard of Sacramento, California.
Also, the co-main event between Danny Castillo and Tony Ferguson will be featured on the program. Castillo, with Dillashaw, is a member of Team Alpha Male. Ferguson is a former Ultimate Fighter winner.
Check out a preview for the show and the complete lineup below. FightLine will have coverage of Saturday’s card, including play-by-play and post-fight news and information.
