Jerrod Sanders will move from lightweight to bantamweight at UFC Fight Night 54, taking on former Resurrection Fighting Alliance champion Pedro Munhoz.

Set for October 4 from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, the card features a main event between Rory MacDonald and Tarec Saffiedine. FOX Sports 1 is expected to televise the main card.

Sanders (14-2) lost his Octagon debut to Yosdenis Cedeno at lightweight earlier this year. The loss snapped a 12-fight win streak for him.

Munhoz (11-1) has split two UFC fights, defeating Matt Hobar after falling to Raphael Assuncao.
