When Jon Jones appeared on an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” following his “brawl” with Daniel Cormier, he took a jab at the former Olympian.

Jones, the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion, suffered a knee injury that resulted in surgery and forced the postponement of a planned fight with Cormier until 2015.

That delay doesn’t mean the two are going to stop trading shots, as “DC” fired back at “Bones” on Twitter with the following:

These two have until January 3 and UFC 182 to continue the war of words.

To sum up the experience on the wrestling mats for both fighters: Cormier was a standout at Oklahoma State University before qualifying for the Olympics, while Jones was a junior college national champion prior to embarking on a career in MMA.
