Due to the changes because of injuries, a new co-main event has been set for UFC 177 later this month.

Lightweights Danny Castillo and Tony Ferguson will fill the hole vacated by a planned flyweight title match between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso on August 30 from Sacramento.

For Castillo (17-6), the fight will be in front of his hometown fans and Team Alpha Male fighters. He has posted a 7-3 Octagon mark, and will be taking on a former Ultimate Fighter winner in Ferguson (15-3).

“Not sure what to say,” Castillo posted on Twitter. “I’ve been working so hard my whole career for this! Co-main event in my hometown! This is a dream come true!”

The main event for the card also boasts a Team Alpha Male competitor, as bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw defends his belt against Renan Barao.
